I recently added a new feature to my ecommerce site which lets shoppers include a gift card with their order. My original idea was to purchase blank/generic cards and then hand write in the gift card message or simply print off the message on a simple half-sheet of stock paper. Then I thought, surely there’s a better way.
After searching around a little I came across Greetingbee.com. Greetingbee.com is an online card maker that lets you create and fully customize all types of cards. Birthday cards, thank you cards, holiday cards, anniversary, you name it. It’s a very easy to use online system that in my opinion works great. 3 simple steps and your done.
Step 1: Choose the card design by either starting with a blank card or by selecting from one of their designer card templates (which you can also edit).
Step 2: Customize everything on the front and inside of the card. You can add text, photos, backgrounds, borders, shapes and more.
Step 3: Add the card to your cart and select the delivery method. You can choose to have Greetingbee.com mail the card to the recipient (prices vary by quantity), print the card on your personal printer (.99 cents), or mail the card to your address (prices vary by quantity). Each time I’ve created a card I printed the card on my own printer. The document you receive for printing has very easy guidelines and instructions on it so you know exactly how to load it into your printer. I bought some nice 65lb paper to print on and the cards have been turning out perfect.
Next time you need a card for any type of celebration, give Greetingbee.com a try. For a little over $1 dollar (Greetingbee fee + paper) you can have a really nice personalized card. Much better than the unpersonalized $5 dollar card at your local store.

Hi Steve -
Personalized greeting cards are a GREAT way to stay in touch at a much lower cost than the traditional ‘nonpersonalized’ cards AND them being online is even more convenient.
I wanted to share with you another option; one that is less expensive per card but equally convenient. Plus you can add a gift to be sent along with the card.
I do hope you’ll check out sendacard2day dot com and consider offering that as an additional option to your readers.
Thanks Michelle, looks like an interesting alternative.
